Telegram Notifier · Package com.guberdev.tgnotifier
Effective date: July 15, 2026

Plain-language summary: Telegram Notifier has no developer-operated app backend, advertising, or analytics. Your Telegram login and message data are handled on your device and exchanged directly with Telegram through TDLib. The developer does not receive your Telegram credentials, chats, or messages.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Telegram Notifier (“the App”), provided by Guber Development (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”), handles information. It also explains the limited processing involved when you visit this webpage.

Telegram is a separate service. Telegram's handling of your data is governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.

2. Information the App handles

Telegram authentication information

To sign in, the App asks for your Telegram phone number, login code, and, if enabled, two-step verification password. These values are submitted directly to Telegram through TDLib for authentication. The App does not intentionally write the login code or two-step verification password to its diagnostic log or send them to the developer.

Telegram account, chat, and message information

After authentication, TDLib may process and store locally the information needed to maintain your Telegram session and provide the App's features. This can include Telegram user and session identifiers, chat lists and titles, sender and chat identifiers, message text and metadata, message links, and files TDLib needs or downloads.

The App reads new text messages for chats you select and creates local Android notifications. Notification content may include a chat title and message text, depending on your Android notification and lock-screen settings.

App settings

The App stores settings in app-private storage, including selected, hidden, or favorite chat identifiers; incoming/outgoing notification preferences; and text or regular-expression filters you configure.

Local diagnostic information

The App maintains a local size-limited diagnostic log. It may contain timestamps, operational events, chat identifiers, directions, and error codes. The App applies redaction to labeled phone numbers, authentication codes, passwords, API hashes, and tokens. You can view and clear this log inside the App. Do not enter secrets into configurable names or filters.

Device and app information

TDLib sends Telegram technical parameters needed to establish the connection, such as operating system, device model designation, system language, and App version.

3. How information is used

4. Sharing and disclosure

The App exchanges Telegram authentication and account data with Telegram through TDLib because this is necessary for its core features. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share App data with data brokers. The App contains no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

The developer does not operate a server that receives your Telegram credentials, chats, or messages. Information may be disclosed if required by applicable law, but we cannot disclose App data that we do not possess.

5. Storage, retention, and security

Telegram session data, TDLib databases and files, App settings, and the diagnostic log are stored locally in the App's private storage on your Android device. They generally remain until you log out, clear the relevant data, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Telegram may retain information independently under its own policies.

We use data-minimization measures including app-private storage, no developer-operated App backend, no advertising or analytics SDKs, and redaction of common labeled secrets in the local log. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device with a screen lock and use Android notification privacy controls if message previews are sensitive.

6. Your choices and deletion

Because the developer does not receive or maintain your Telegram account data on a developer server, there is ordinarily no developer-side account record to delete.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use Telegram or digital services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information on a developer-operated server.

8. This webpage and Cloudflare

This webpage does not intentionally set cookies or enable advertising or analytics, and its restrictive Content Security Policy blocks third-party scripts. It is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard web-request information, such as IP address, request headers, and security or performance data, to deliver and protect the page. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the App's behavior, legal requirements, or supporting services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, contact Guber Development through the project's GitHub issue tracker. Do not include phone numbers, login codes, passwords, message contents, or other sensitive information in a public issue.
